Work team visit from our home church

Nobody gets things done like Scott and Jenette Denson!
They recruited some great people from our home church in Miles City, Montana, US to come out with them again to do more work on our house for us. Pictured above:  part of the Kanduch family Eddie, Dawn, Jordan and Jasmine with Scott and Jenette back right and Alicia bottom right.
Their first week was spent out on Ambrym doing projects at our place.
They painted our house this super fun color (we know, it doesn't work in the US but we LOVE IT here!)
Eddie bravely painted all the horrible high bits.

Eddie also set us up with a working water heater, so we have the option of hot showers now for the first time in years!  Scott poured us a slab for a new outdoor shower too (to wash off black feet and salty bodies before coming in the house!).
After a week in the village, we all flew back to Vila together for our week of conference with the other Bible translation teams from the country.
While we were in meetings all day for a week, the kids had the time of their lives doing activities with the team from our church plus Chris and Katy from Ian's church in Australia (see them in pics below.  Ian's our builder friend that helped us build our house).

 Addy, Gwen, and Abby.
Jenette, with her science teaching background, had all kinds of fun science activities for the kids to do.
 Kaiden's bestie, Jasmine.

Gretchen's boys..?.. and Micah playing dress up.  :)
 Addy, Abby, Sadie, and Akela.
Micah, Beckett, Levi, Jasmine, and Kaiden.
Jotham, Julian, Gwen, Jesiah, and Jordan.
Katy, Alicia, Scott, Jenette, and Waverly.
Scott, Jenette, and the Kanduch's brought t-shirts with them for all the kids!  Here's the work team, kids, and Bible translation families and staff.

We're so grateful for all the help these guys provided not only us, but our whole Bible translation crew!  They were generous servants, paying their own way to come and giving so generously of their time.  We so enjoyed having them here and we'll take them back anytime!!
